Preserving the Heritage of America's Turning Point

Support Our Mission

Our Mission

Dedicated to preserving and interpreting the hallowed grounds where the tide of the American Revolution turned in favor of independence.

The Battle of Saratoga, fought in the autumn of 1777, stands as one of the most decisive battles in world history. Here, American forces proved they could defeat a professional British army, convincing France to enter the war and ultimately securing American independence.

Friends of the Saratoga Battlefield works tirelessly to preserve this sacred ground, educate the public about its significance, and honor the memory of those who fought here.
